asb law has achieved ‘one to watch’ status in the prestigious Best Companies to Work For Survey

The accreditation scheme has been established to acknowledge excellence in the workplace and focuses on workplace engagement as an integral component of an organisation’s success. Hundreds of companies of different sizes apply for accreditation each year, going through a vigorous submission procedure which includes a detailed survey which is sent to the majority of the organisation population (depending on how large the organisation is).

“Over 80% of our staff took the time to complete and return the survey, considerably more than the average, and the detailed analysis will enable us to determine how and where we can improve work practices and employee care,” says Philippa Barnes, Head of HR & Development at asb.

“People engagement, development and business success are inextricably linked; we believe that engaging and motivating our staff has improved our clients’ and our people’s experience and we’re determined to do even better next year. We recognise that improvement doesn’t come overnight and requires effort, but we will be reviewing our engagement plans to reflect the feedback of our people, and hope to achieve a ‘one star rating next year.”
