Kreston Reeves’ Charity Partner recognised in Kent Women in Business Awards 2015

Kreston Reeves, one of the leading accountancy and financial services firms in Kent, is proud to announce that Susan Robinson, Partner and Head of Charities and Not for Profit within the firm has been recognised at the Kent Women in Business Awards 2015.  Susan has been shortlisted in the Excellence within the Non-Profit Sector category and the awards will be taking place on the 26th March at the Mercure Maidstone Great Danes Hotel.

The Kent Women in Business awards, now in its third and biggest year, celebrates the achievements of female professionals throughout Kent and across all sectors of business from start-up enterprises to large companies.  Individuals are recognised for their creativity, customer service, leadership and professionalism in the Kent business arena.

Susan is an expert on charities and their finances and regularly presents seminars to charity managers and trustees on a variety of subjects concerning the management of Not for Profit organisations.  This is not the first time that Susan has been recognised for her work and contribution to the wider community; in 2013 she was shortlisted at the prestigious Women of Achievement Awards within the Women in the City – Accountancy category.

Susan commented, “I am delighted to have been both nominated for and shortlisted in these awards which are so important in recognising the remarkable women making a real difference to the business landscape across the county.

I am passionate about the work the Not for Profit sector does and will continue to support projects to enable them to reach their full potential in benefitting the communities in which they work.”

Andrew Griggs, Senior Partner at Kreston Reeves, added “On behalf of the firm I would like to extend a well earned congratulations to Susan who is thoroughly deserving of her recognition within this year’s Kent Women in Business Awards.  We are proud to have Susan as Head of our Charities and Not for Profit team and delighted that the local business community, in addition to her peers who put her forward for the award, have acknowledged her continued hard work and invaluable contribution to the sector.  We look forward to attending the awards ceremony and hearing the results”.
