Reeves, one of the South East’s leading Accountancy and Financial Service firms, is delighted to announce its participation in the Three Peaks Challenge, climbing the UK’s highest mountains in aid of the firm’s nominated charities for 2014.

The team of eight Partners from across the firm, led by Managing Partner Nigel Fright, include Tim Maakestad, Mike Dyer, Jennifer Williamson, Richard Heasman, Michael Cook, Simon Linley and James Peach.

To complete the Challenge in September this year, the Reeves Partners will take on the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales all within 24 hours.  This will involve scaling the formidable Ben Nevis, Scotland on day one, completing Scafell Pike in the Lake District overnight, to finish at the steep slopes of Mount Snowdon in Snowdonia National Park, Wales.  This equates to climbing around ten thousand feet and walking almost 26 miles!

The charities to benefit from this endeavour are; Kent Multiple Sclerosis Therapy Centre, The Friends of the Wisdom Hospice, St Luke’s Centre, and Crawley Open House.

Nigel Fright, Reeves Managing Partner said, “We are a mixed group of age ranges and abilities but we all have one goal – to raise as much money as we can for these important causes”.

The run up to the Challenge thus far has seen the Reeves Partners fitting in training around busy work schedules for what promises to be a true test of fitness and fortitude.

This includes training at Reeves’ new client’s gym, BayPoint, at Discovery Park, Sandwich (as pictured).

Nigel Fright, further commented, “Reeves have an outstanding legacy in Corporate Social Responsibility and we take our position within the community extremely seriously.  I am proud to say that we continue to support our chosen charities in weird and wonderful ways from raising money from cake sales to sky dives and significant time commitment, but the Three Peaks Challenge is the start of a new level of commitment in our pursuit of fundraising that will set a precedent for the next five years of our CSR programme”.
