Watchfinder Wins KCFA Best Deal of the Year 2014

Congratulations to all those who were involved in the Watchfinder deal, which won KCFA Best Deal of the Year 2014 last night.

The event was a great success with KCFA Chairman, John Harley, presenting the winner and runner up with their certificates and prize. Brachers, who advised the winning Watchifinder deal, collected their award on the evening and said a few words to thank all those involved in the deal.

Completed on 12th September 2012, the deal involved securing a $10 million (£6.18 million) investment from growth equity firms Piton Capital and Beringea.

Corporate Partner James Bullock and Associate Matthew Simmonds led the team on the deal, which is the latest example of high-level corporate advisory work being retained by market leading regional firms rather gravitating to the City.

Runner up on the evening was the Borelli Tea Holdings deal, carried out by Thomson Snell & Passmore. They advised Kent-based Borelli Tea Holdings Limited on its US$19.5 million acquisition of a majority stake in Pfunda Tea Company Ltd, in the Republic of Rwanda

Thank you to all those attended last night and congratulations to those that were involved in both deals, as well as all those that participated in the awards.
