Rawlison Butler LLP is pleased to announce that Lisa Downs has joined its Commercial and Technology Team in Gatwick as a Partner.   Lisa joined from City law firm, Fieldfisher, where she has been a partner in the technology, outsourcing and privacy law group in London.

With over 18 years’ experience in technology and outsourcing law, Lisa has advised on and managed a wide range of commercial transactions across both the public and private sector.  She has extensive experience in drafting and negotiating a broad spectrum of commercial agreements and documentation including master services agreements, tenders, consultancy agreements, support/maintenance agreements, software licences, online terms and conditions and distribution and reseller contracts.

Lisa has specialist expertise in public sector procurement and the application of the Public Contract Regulations, which enables her to advise clients at every stage of the procurement process from market sounding, tendering, re-structuring, termination, exit and re-procurement.  She also has experience in conference speaking and writes widely for industry and technology publications.

Lisa commented: “Joining Rawlison Butler is an exciting opportunity for me.  I was particularly impressed with their strong client base and reputation in the South East, which will allow me to continue working for innovative and exciting clients, as well as giving me a solid platform from which to develop my practice, closer to home, particularly with businesses in the Gatwick Diamond area.”

Tim Sadka, Head of the Corporate and Commercial Teams at Rawlison Butler "We are delighted that Lisa has joined the Team. Her strong track record and experience, along with her local knowledge within London and the Gatwick Diamond, grows our Commercial Team further at a time when clients in the region are looking for a strong offering, with the excellent service we are recognised for delivering.”
