Reeves, KCFA member and one of the South East’s leading accountancy and business advisory firms, are honoured to announce that their employee Hamish Wilson received 90% in Financial Management at Professional Stage of his ICAEW exams. This was the highest mark worldwide!

Hamish Wilson who works in Business Services in the firm’s London office has also been awarded The Howitt prize for the Financial Management paper he sat in the December examinations. The Howitt prize was established by Sir Harold Gibson Howitt in 1966 after his retirement from ICAEW council in 1961.

Upon receiving this news Hamish commented, “I was absolutely blown away, I knew the hard work would be worth it but I never expected to enter prize winning territory. I really appreciate the numerous congratulations I've received from colleagues and partners across the firm”.

This is not the first time that Reeves’ students have been awarded the ‘First in the World’ accolade. Recently Emma Haggarty, who works in Corporate Services in the firm’s Chatham Maritime office also succeeded in being ‘First in the World’ for her P6 Advanced Taxation achieving 90% on the paper.

Andrew Griggs, HR Partner at Reeves commented: “Reeves are very proud of all the hard work and achievements of all our students. Exceptional congratulations go to Hamish for achieving the top mark in the world and receiving The Howitt prize. It is a fantastic achievement for him and us as a firm. We look forward to seeing our students’ progress in the future!”
